Colorado businesses don’t need a constitutional carve-out for methane gas (Opinion)

This November, Colorado voters will decide on Amendment 82, a proposed constitutional amendment that would create a permanent right to buy and sell methane gas in the state. In effect, it would write one industry’s business model into the state constitution. As an investor who has spent two decades judging which businesses can compete on their merits, I’ll be voting “no,” and I urge fellow business leaders to look beyond the ballot language before deciding.
